Toy Tinkers, Starring Donald Duck (1949)

Let’s get real.  Cartoons today are NO MATCH for the ones of yesteryear!  Especially when it comes to old Disney shorts.  I can watch these on YouTube for hours, and, even though you don’t want to admit it, you can too.

This site began with the idea of reviewing Disney animated movies.  However, one cannot ignore the Disney classic shorts.  Small tales told in 7-8 minutes, with incredible animation and memorable characters.  Since we are in the holiday season, we would like to take you down memory lane with these childhood treasures.  Maybe your kids will like them too! 

Today, we bring you the 1949 holiday short, Toy Tinkers, starring Donald Duck.  In this short, like many others, Donald battles the notoriously cute and dangerous Chip n’ Dale.  I always find myself torn as to who I’m rooting for!  Donald is quite mean and vindictive, but he doesn’t stand a chance against these chipmunks.  He sure does get stuck with all the bad luck!
