The new series will be premiering on Disney XD this summer and we couldn't be more excited! All of our favorite characters are coming back with an entirely new look and energy. We grew up with the original cartoon series (Disney Afternoons anyone?) so it makes it extra special that we can share the new stories with our children.
If you read our Duck Tales post back in March, you might remember that the cartoon series was inspired by Carl Barks' Uncle Scrooge comics. This gave us the idea to create a retro Duck Tales party!
You can match any party idea as long as you stick to the color scheme. Lucky for us, Duck Tales commits to bright primary and secondary colors, so table settings were really easy to find. Add dollar bills and chocolate gold coins for an extra bit of Scrooge's personality.
Have you ever actually listened to dialogue in DuckTales? It's brilliant! Every character shines in their own way. We used some of our favorite quotes as photo booth props. Don't forget the top hats! For the colorful backdrop of our photo booth. we decided to use a bunch of Uncle Scrooge comic covers print outs. Get the speech bubbles for your photo booth here!
Money Bin Pinata
We hinted towards our party when we created this pinata inspired by Scrooge's legendary money bin. Make you own with this tutorial!
These money bin-inspired party favors require a bit of art, but we love how they add more details for the party. Learn how to make yours here!
