#9 Hottest Female: Belle (Beauty & the Beast, 1991)

Incidentally, Belle’s selection comes on the heels of Emma Watson, one of the world’s hottest human actresses, being cast as the Beauty in Disney’s new live action retelling of Beauty and the Beast.  Anyway, the animated Belle might just be the most classically beautiful gal on my list.  But, “classically beautiful” is also kinda boring.  Ho hum… at least she likes to read and loves her father.  Otherwise, the most interesting thing about Belle is that she spurns a rough-around-the-edges but perfectly respectable suitor in Gaston for a beast… A BEAST who first wrongfully imprisons her father and then her!!!  To be fair to Belle, in choosing the beast, she does get to live out every girl’s fantasy by first meeting a rich prince, living in a castle and then changing - as in LITERALLY transforming him into the man of her dreams.  But that’s neither here nor there because she’s still a hottie.

#9 Hottest Male: Kristoff (Frozen, 2013)

Kristoff is the newest of our dashing heroes which I am quite in love with, even if he does have "unmanly blonde hair". He isn't instantly in lust with Anna and actually questions her so-called love at first sight crap. There is a comfortable confidence about him that hasn't been touched upon in other Disney films. He isn't conceited, but he also isn't insecure. Not to mention, burly strong men are super duper hot (they should have given him a beard!). With Kristoff, you know you are safe. I mean, he actually asked Anna if he could kiss her. I find that incredibly charming and sweet. Let's add the facts that he's funny, great with animals (which I only assume because of his great relationship with Sven), and - swoon - a song writer. I'm a sucker for the singing males - sue me.
