#7 Hottest Female: Mulan (Mulan, 1998)

Mulan is an official “Disney Princess” but she was neither born a princess nor did she marry into royalty.  She is not a princess.  She is a warrior.  She is a hero.  She is WOMAN!!!  Seriously, why would Disney downgrade her like that?   Mulan is right up there with legit Disney heroes like Robin Hood, Hercules and Wreck-It-Ralph.  Heck, she may even be atop that list!  However, Disney would rather square-peg-and-round-hole her by giving little girls yet another princess to obsess over while they could actually give them a real role model to aspire to (for once!).  What’s even worse is that little girls don’t even care!  Of all the hordes of misguided girls cavorting about Disneyland in their princess dresses, not once have I seen a little Mulan.  Anyway, did I mention how hot she is?  Sure, she could pass as a boy but she’s still got it going on.  Or, maybe I’m just as bad as Disney… they clearly included her as a princess just because they wanted Asian representation. And, now, perhaps I’m including Mulan on my list because no Top 10 List of Hotties is complete without AT LEAST one Asian gal.  #AMIRITE?

#7 Hottest Male(s): Aladdin (Aladdin, 1992), Hercules (Hercules, 1997), Flynn Rider (Tangled, 2010)

It’s a three way tie for #7 because all these gentlemen have one attractive quality in common: they are adorable. They are the safe, non-threatening, nice guy that girls want to eventually marry. In some strange way, I can see how these three characters are the evolution of the cutie pie: Aladdin (the thief) plus Hercules (the famous hero) equals Flynn Rider (the infamous thief turned hero), but that is a whole other thesis I won’t delve into today.

Coincidentally, they are all insecure, which may explain why they aren’t taken already. I hate lumping them all together in one because each has specific traits and actions that make them who they are, but the fact remains that on the “hotness” spectrum, they are cute. Not too tough, not too weak, but definitely all heart. After all that’s said and done, doesn’t every girl want a man that gives 100%? Jasmine, Meg, and Rapunzel are some lucky ladies.
