Our 2-year old is obsessed with Cars (not surprising) so we thought we'd have a DIY geared towards him today. Clean up time is rarely easy around the home, especially for toys. Since our little one can't read yet, visuals are best for him to understand. This box is decorated specifically for his Cars toys, so he knows exactly where to put them when it is clean up time. Simple and clean - KACHOW! Fingers crossed that it actually works - haha!
Paper Mache box (like these)
Red acrylic paint
Yellow acrylic paint
Black acrylic paint
1. Draw the lightning bolt on the top of the box
3. Using the yellow paint, paint your bolt. Let it completely dry.
4. Paint the rest of the box red. Let it completely dry.
5. Paint the outline of the lighting bolt black. Let it completely dry.
We are so excited for Cars 3, due to be released June 16th! Who's planning on watching it in theaters?
