One fun element in this year's game was the hunt for cool Disneyland and Disney California Adventure tasks, like the one for the Mark Twain: Ask a cast member if you can ride in the wheelhouse. Bring back your River Pilot's License to get your points! Most of the questions are pretty straight forward. Participants are usually looking for a detail on the ride/attraction, like the one below: It's a Small World: How many buttons are on the big Mountie's uniform? The Questions & TasksOn Sunday, August 24, 2014, we hosted our second annual A Waltz Through DisneyLAND! P.W. and Amy Melissa created a scavenger hunt to test six teams on who could have the best day at Disneyland AND Disney California Adventure. The participants were so awesome! Much like last year's game, team shirts were made for the Disney-inspired team names. We had three veteran teams and three newbies this time! Everyone was fantastic and really got into the spirit of friendly competition. So how do we determine who has the best day? We tested them! Each team received a booklet with a series of questions and tasks that you had to complete. Rides and attractions had a question to prove that a team rode the ride or visited the location. Character photo ops were encouraged for more points. After ten hours, each team turned in their booklet of answers and a winner was determined shortly after. It was a great fun-filled day! *NEW THIS YEAR* Teeny-tiny details! Have you noticed all the intricate details all over the parks? This scavenger hunt makes you look for them. Here are a few of the fun ones we added to the game this year: The WinnersTwo newbie teams won second and third place, and one of our veteran teams won first place! Congratulations to all the winners! Third Place: Pop, Lock, and Dinglehop Second Place: Practically Perfect in Every Gay First Place: Kitty and Boo If you would like to try out our scavenger hunt, click here to download our questions!
